چکیده
Staphylococcus aureus is the most frequently isolated pathogen from bovine mastitis including subclinical, clinical, and chronic infections. Virulence factors possessed by S. aid in causing infection inflammation producing toxins proteins, which are responsible for pathogenesis of disease. In current study out 51 animals presented with clinical mastitis, was milk 18 animals. confirmed genus species level identification using polymerase chain reaction. Molecular characterization selected virulence genes thermonuclease (nuc) Panton Valentine Leucocidin (PVL) performed all isolates. Presence nuc gene observed isolates (100 %) aureus. No were found to be positive presence PVL gene. Profiling an important tool epidemiological studies can employed prevention control

Molecular Basis of Virulence in Staphylococcus aureus Mastitis
BACKGROUND S. aureus is one of the main pathogens involved in ruminant mastitis worldwide. The severity of staphylococcal infection is highly variable, ranging from subclinical to gangrenous mastitis. This work represents an in-depth characterization of S. aureus mastitis isolates to identify bacterial factors involved in severity of mastitis infection. METHODOLOGY/PRINCIPAL FINDINGS We emplo...
متن کاملPCR-based detection of genes encoding virulence determinants in Staphylococcus aureus from bovine subclinical mastitis cases
The present study was carried out to genotypically characterize Staphylococcus aureus (S. aureus) isolated from bovine mastitis cases. A total of 37 strains of S. aureus were isolated during processing of 552 milk samples from 140 cows. The S. aureus strains were characterized phenotypically, and were further characterized genotypically by polymerase chain reaction using oligonucleotide primers...

Background and aim: Regarding to the importance of Staphylococcus aureuscolonization in bovine mastitis and the role of biofilm in its pathogenesis, the aim of the present study were to assessment of biofilm production and identification of biofilm related genes among S. aureus isolated from bovine with subclinical mastitis. Materials and Methods: In this cross-sectional study, a total of 502 m...
متن کاملAssociation of agr Gene Expression with Staphylococcus Aureus Virulence Genes in BHI Broth
Abstract Background and Objective: Agr is the most important regulatory system for the expression of Staphylococcus aureus virulence factors in different conditions. Agr acts as a quorum sensing system in this bacterium which is activated by increased cell concentration during the transition from logarithmic growth phase to stationary phase. Its role is to up...
متن کاملStaphylococcus aureus exosecretions and bovine mastitis.
The role of Staphylococcus aureus and coagulase-negative staphylococcal exosecretions in bovine udder infection was tested by monitoring the cows' response to in vivo inoculation of bacterial exosecretions into udder quarters. Twenty Israeli-Holstein dairy cows were included in the study; two or three of the udder quarters of each cow were intracisternally inoculated with 0.04-0.05 mg/quarter (...
